One of the biggest advantages that Custom Foam And Precast has over the competition, is out ability to create custom shapes.

Hot wire foam cutting machines operate much like CNC cutting machines. Using computer technology, we can draw up any shape in full 3D, and then extract the 2D polylines for import into the machine’s output program.

As the wire heats, it moves slowly through the foam, cutting every angle previously specified by the software. The machine operates on a X,Y, and U,V, axis, where the two axis’s can run together or independent. The machine also includes a turn table which can be programmed in combination with the polylines to create highly articulate foam shapes.

We often use foam cutting technology to create coated foam molds for use in precast or G.F.R.C., or to fabricate stunning original foam positives to develop rubber or fiber glass molds for manufacturing cast products.

Hot wire foam cutting machinery in combination with the skills and expertise to utilize it’s benefits proves to be a commanding advantage in the field of manufacturing and fabricating precast.
